30 More Seconds of Transformers: Prime Footage
USA Today has a preview of Transformers: Prime. Don’t be folled that the video says it’s a minute long; half of it is Optimus, Bumblebee and I think RC fighting some generic Decepticons, and have is Hasbro’s infinitely long logo video. As for Prime, right now it looks like a weird hybrid between Animated and Beast Wars — the character designs are lanky and cartoonishly shaped, which is fine, but the CG looks like it was made in 1998. Okay, maybe not forthe Transformers themselves, but the backgrounds — or lack thereof — are horrible. It’s like an empty blue cavern full of crates. For a second I thought I was playing Tomb Raider on my PlayStation again.
