Superman Vs. Spider-Man XXX Is a Pornographic Thing That Is Happening

Behold the safe-for-work trailer:

Thoughts:
? The porn industry is going to make a Superman Vs. Spider-Man movie before DC makes an actual Justice League or Wonder Woman movies. Wow.
? That Doctor Octopus costume is really, genuinely excellent.
? Honestly, when I saw Doc Ock’s tentacle grab Superman’s arm, I got a little nerd boner. Nothing sexual, just an erection from the nerdy bliss of seeing a DC/Marvel crossover. These are not the type of erections the porn industry is used to creating.
? Comics movies the porn industry will probably get to before DC makes a Wonder Woman movie: Animal Man, Doom Patrol, Marvel Zombies, Thunderbolts, the Amalgam universe and Crisis on Infinite Earths (a.k.a. Crisis in Infinite Vaginas),
? So are Superman and Spider-Man going to fight each other, or…?
? Should they fight, or should they just have an orgy with the super-ladies and then high five or something? I honestly don’t know which would be more appropriate.
? Given the fact that Spider-woman is in it, I’m pretty sure we can assume Bendis is going to buy a copy. Or three.
? SERIOUSLY, THE PORN INDUSTRY IS MAKING A SUPERMAN VS. SPIDER-MAN MOVIE BEFORE DC MAKES AN ACTUAL JUSTICE LEAGUE OR WONDER WOMAN MOVIES. Holy shit.

Robert Bricken is one of the original co-founders of the site formerly known as Topless Robot, and its first editor-in-chief, serving from 2008-12. He brought the site to prominence with “nerd news, humor and self-loathing” as its motto, raising it from total internet obscurity to a readership in the millions, with help from his savage “FAQ” movie reviews and Fan Fiction Fridays. Under his tenure Topless Robot was covered by Gawker, Wired, Defamer, New York magazine, ABC News, and others, and his articles have been praised by Roger Ebert, Avengers actor Clark Gregg, comedian and The Daily Show correspondent John Hodgman, the stars of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Rifftrax, and others. He is currently the managing editor of io9.com. Despite decades as both an amateur and professional nerd, he continues to be completely unprepared for either the zombie apocalypse or the robot uprising.
