Paul F. Tompkins Covering Adele Surprisingly Does Not Suck

I admit, I totally figured Paul F. Tompkins would be about as good a singer as Adele is a stand-up comedian. But I actually think I like his version of “Skyfall” better than hers, mainly because it doesn’t have the annoying back-up vocals on the last chorus.

Dude hits every note, seriously. It’s funny because it’s him and he’s wearing a suit like an ice cream salesman at the beach, but otherwise, a faithful, reverent and emotional take. If it were the actual Bond theme it would still rank above “Licence to Kill” and “Moonraker.”
