The WarGames Reboot Needs a M.C.R.I.B. Computer

With recent news coming out that MGM is negotiating with Dean Israelite to direct and Arash Amel to write the WarGames reboot, it’s time to move onto the most important decision at all.

What are they going to call the supercomputer that inevitably will get hacked and almost destroy the world before learning (and teaching us all) a valuable lesson about the insanity of mutually assured destruction?

The A.I. in the original was called W.O.P.R., short for War Operation Plan Response, an acronym that gave rise to plenty of talk about Burger King.

MGM should just go all-in this next time around with the M.C.R.I.B., short for Military Command Robot Intelligence Beta.

Just think of the marketing opportunities. Just think of the built-in audience they’ll already have with McRib fanatics. Just think of those fake bones slathered in BBQ sauce, garnished with pickles and onions, and squished between two chunks of bread. Just think of it.

Make it happen, MGM. The future is in your hands.
