Star Wars Day Awakens! Kylo Ren Unmasked, Toy Boxes Revealed and a Trek Troll

It’s May the 4th, and that means Star Wars day on every corner of the nerd Internet, so we’re kicking you off with some of the premature revelations the day has already brought. A new Vanity Fair feature will reveal more later today, but for now, we have the cover…and one character confirmation made official [minor spoiler below].

I think most of us figured it out by now, but yes, as the video below shows, Adam Driver is definitely playing new saber-slinging villain Kylo Ren. However, my guess is he’s unmasked for the photoshoot, and any hypothetical bare-facing onscreeen, should it happen, wouldn’t necessarily reveal his normal visage – though it could.
Speaking of Mr. Ren fair, his masked likeness will adorn Hasbro’s new toy packaging, which will officially debut at 12:01 a.m. on Sept. 4th.

And here’s Star Trek: Voyager‘s Tim Russ trolling Star Wars fans. It’s almost erotic when he talks about the hole of the death ball.
