Mankind's destruction has never been so damn pretty. Am I the only one who thinks the sky-penguins are amazing? The little kid part of me that always believes special effects are real went crazy when I saw ACTUAL FLYING ROBOTS.

Maybe it's been awhile since I've seen the movie, but doesn't the interior of Festo look a little bit like the corporate building in I, Robot? Just as long as they don't name any of the penguins Sonny...

I love the flying penguins. I'd love to see some of those at a tech museum, just floating around the atrium. Hell, put them in the rotunda of the Guggenheim.

The penguins are more floating than flying, probably held up with helium or some such air buoyant gas. So not to worry, probably could be taken down with a decent air rifle.
But when we are required to get chipped for consumer purchasing, the homing devices will be included.
Wouldn't mind setting up some track on my ceiling though to put one of those light bulb changing robots to work.
Come to think of it, maybe the dolphins that recently stopped some Chinese merchant ships weren't quite organic after all. Technology is generally far more advanced than what is released to the public eye.

No one will expect it when the next school shooting will involve an emotionally deranged and depressed teenager armed with AN ARMY OF CUBE ROBOTS.
