Apparently in the newest Grand Theft Auto: Tales from Liberty City game, a certain Japanese animation has become very popular -- and that anime is Princess Robot Bubblegum. I don't know how this actually shows up in the game, or if this trailer was made for any reason other than as a brutally anime-mocking viral video, but... it's rather well done. The tragedy is that I would totally watch an anime called Princess Robot Bubblegum. Sigh. Thanks to LBD "Nytetayn" for the tip.

Well as it says, it will in the new line-up of television programs for the game. Your character can watch these shows from the televisions in his safe houses. This will just be one of many, and you should be ashamed that you would actually watch the shit if it were real.

While I'm a fan of anime (well, not THAT kind of anime), I still think this is hilarious. Pretty accurate representation of the anime that is merchandised to Americans anyway.
Especially the tentacle monster. Why do I get a creepy feeling there will be a FFF in the not-to-distant future staring Robot Princess Bubblegum?

Tit missiles were invented by Go Nagai in his 1972 classic Mazinger Z.

It's a bit cheeky of Grand Theft Auto to be mocking misogynist attitudes toward women, I think... Pot, meet kettle.

I don't normally get excited about video games but the Live-only GTA material is getting released on an actual disk? Oh, hell yes! *fist pump*
GTA mocks every attitude. It's freaking satire.

I'd like to argue that the anime medium has produced some of the best stories I've even seen and has often been able to take risks that other visual mediums tend to avoid, but when 80% of whats out there is exactly like this, I'll just instead tip my hat to Rockstar. Kudos sir, you actually made something entertaining.

Speaking as someone who's already watched Fight Ippatsu! Juuden-chan!! and Queen's Blade, I would watch this. My standards are apparently nonexistent.

This was originally a commercial that only played on the radio stations in GTA IV, so actually seeing it is hilarious. Looks like it will be on the TV stations along with Republican Space Rangers.

I used to hate GTA. Being from L.A., the LAST thing I want to do is play a game where all you do is drive around. Oh, and the horribly misogynistic use of health-restoring whores, who you can beat to death after you've had your way with them.
Now I'm thinking I might give it a second chance if they can turn this spot-on critique onto themselves . . .

It is pretty funny, but then as others have pointed out GTA should take a hard look at themselves ... or an anime put out its version of GTA and other games like it.

Have to agree that perfect hair forever did a far better job of it. Many of the jokes in this one were just too easy.

Oh, please. You can beat ANYONE in the game to death. That you can do so to Hookers is not a sign that the game's misognistic, merely very, very violent (and somewhat funny in continuing a video game in-joke that dates back to the NES days).

I got my bro to watch it too and he died laughing, he was a bit bitter about the game being xbox exclusive.. anyways point is as huge anime fans, we got a big kick out of this.
