The fact that it made a huge hit as a motion picture means that, quite frankly, Fillion can do whatever he wants in regards to keeping Firefly references going. In fact, I demand more on Castle. And in ODST.

Don't care for Castle, but that is nothing but sheer win.

And this is why Nathan Fillion is awesome and why Firefly needs to be brought back. Now if we can only get cameo's for the other Firefly actors. That would be great.

Yeah ODST got me to smile just by having him rendered in the game. There may have been some firefly quotes being said when you are hyjacking and flying the little ships

Both Halo 3 and Halo: ODST are filled with Firefly quotes from the actors. During fight scenes you can hear them use the word "gorram", Adam Baldwin refers to his gun as Vera once or twice and in Halo 3 Nathan Fillion's character is actually called Captain Reynolds.

The guys and gals at Bungie are huge Firefly fans, and I love them all the more for it.

Hopefully some of you nerds will now actually watch Castle, since he's much better in it than he ever was on Firefly.

Actually, I think this is just a shout out to the Firefly fans online. There is a photo of the cast in their Halloween costumes, and Castle is dressed as Poe. It looks like this is a photo of him in his poe clothes with a side holster.

That said, it is still freaking awesome!

It's up on ABC.com - and is a hilariously awful read. They really captured the feel of those mystery novels you see sold at airport bookstores where the author's name is ten times larger than the title.

The CIA guy was right, though - the sex scene was pretty good.

oh, and since Castle's on Mondays (and they're supposedly going to keep airing new episodes through November so they get to take advantage of DWTS as a lead-in), my guess is that the Halloween episode is the 26th.

I think that's the one that Phil LeMarr is guest-starring in.

Fillion is the main reason I watch Castle. My wife digs the show. I'm slowly working on my Firefly plan.

Castle is actually a solid show, took a bit to get going in the first season but the actors got into their roles better and so on. Makes me cry wondering how awesome Firefly would have been after the cast had a couple of seasons to gel even better....

I think its a bit sad that I've spent more time staring at this picture than Bamber's PETA picture... then again not really. I cannot wait to see this as I've really started to like Castle for more than just a Fillion-fix.

I read somewhere that the book is ghost written by a famous author most likely one of the 3 guys at the poker table: James Patterson, Stephen J. Cannell or Michael Connelly. Anybody know anything about that?

I don't think Fillion actually wrote the Heat Wave book though, but it has gotten good reviews on Amazon.
