And speaking of "Holy @#$%," some enterprising sould made YouTube video of most (or all, I have no idea) of Robin's trademark exclamation from the '60s Batman series. Frankly, I've pretty much been waiting for this since the first day I heard of the internet. I think my favorite is Burt Ward's strangely emotional "Holy mucilage!" What's yours? (Via Gorilla Mask)

that bit is one of the reason the show wore out its welcome and why the rumor that the reason dc and fox have not come to a deal to finaly put the show on dvd is due to dc wanting the campiness and stuff like that erased from the history of the character

My favorite was never uttered by Robin, but has been uttered many a time by myself:
"Holy Hooters, Batman!"

Actually, the pun was NOT intentional! Of course, given my extreme fondness of puns I am sure that it was just a natural reflex. Because if I had done it deliberately I would most definitely be proud of such a pun!

According to IMDB:
A Total of 352 "Holy" words were used by Robin from "Holy Agility" to "Holy Zorro".

That "Holy ..." catchphrase doesn't seem so campy if you think that Robin is just pointing out something was "Wholly ...", as if he was just pointing out the extent of the ill.
Wholly one track Bat computer mind.
Wholly non-sequitors!
Wholly heart-failure.
It just seems as if Burt Ward started off trying to G rate "Holy Shit, Batman!" and ended up just describing the state of the situation they are facing.

My favorites are not on this list, sadly.
On the Batman the Movie DVD, when you put it in, Robin goes "Holy Interactive Menus, Batman!" and it cracks me up every time.
Also from the actual movie: Holy Almost!

Gotta love the priceless collection of Etruscan snoods.
Actually, "Holy Gemini" was pretty sharp. Does Robin have a college degree? Did he even go to high school?

Here's a list of (almost) all of the "Holy one liners, Batman!"

And of course it doesn't include:
"Holey rusted metal, Batman" from Batman Forever.
Rob, long time listener, first time caller. Love this website. Thanks!

They missed my favorite!!!
Catwoman has them tied to some kind of enormous frying pan on a rooftop, with butter, to fry them to death. After describing her elaborate scheme, Robin reacts with "Holy Oleo!", at which point Catwoman replies, deadpan, "I didn't know you could yodel"
Best HOLY ever!
BTW, I think it was Julie Newmar Catwoman, not Eartha Kitt.
