Don't let the slow start fool you -- you're about to watch something beautiful and awesome. It's classic, 8-bit Mega Man... takeninto a Doom-esque 3-D shooter. I'm talking 2-D sprites for characters, 3-D stages and battles, and different powered Mega Men, all the different evil Wily robots and shit, and everyone's running around like crazy. It's insane, and IT'S TOTALLY FUCKING AWESOME. Right now, this is just a trailer; head here to keep track of when it'll be released. Infinite thanks to Dan Marek for the tip.

If it's like any other awesome fan game, the company will put a cease and disest order out and we'll never see it. Like Chrono Resurrection or that Hero of Time movie.

Nah. Capcom is pretty supportive of fangames and they seem to get excited about them. They're the anti-Square.

Or remember there was going to be Landstalker 2 for the Sony Ps? That never got released but there was an incredible fan made trailer for it.

The keywords were "flitting about randomly". Characters appear then disappear, I never knew what the hell was going o. The entire video. The robots and explosions were not the chief reasons for the comparison.
