The Thor Movie Has Achieved Helmets

Fret no more, my darlings. A new Thor movie still has come out, and if you direct your attention to the lower left-hand corner, you’ll notice that Loki is wearing his badass horned helmet. Odin also has a helmet, and I think that little thing poking out from the right side of the kneeling Thor might be his helmet, although obviously I can’t be sure. Still: Thor movie has helmets. We can all breathe a sigh of relief.
And I want to say that I think you guys have turned me around on the costumes. Everyone who reminded me that these guys aren’t Norse gods but Jack Kirby’s idea of Norse gods — well, you’re right, and I’d say these work within that scope pretty well. I’m still a little weirded out by how modern Thor’s outfit and this pic of what I assume is Asgard look, but not enough to lose any sleep over it. Thanks to Ted for the tip.
