Seems Like the Dead Trekkies Are the Real Problem
Quirk Books has not mash-up a literary classic with a nerd-beloved monster from pop culture. For its newest book, the pop culture is the monster when a Star Trek convention coincides with a zombie outbreak in Night of the Living Trekkies by Kevin David Anderson and Sam Stall. Now, remember, I think Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters was great, and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was genuinely brilliant, so I have similar hopes for this; even if you have no desire to read it, I highly recommend you check out the book trailer up above. Honestly, after seeing this, I think I’d be more excited by a Night of the Living Trekkies movies than I am by the book. Hey, it’s not my fault they made the preview video so damn good.
