• Today is also the day that Sucker Punch comes out in theaters. I went to see it last night at the midnight show. It is a very good movie but not entirely for the reasons you might think. At times it is actually pretty brutal in its portrayal of human cruelty, or rather the cruelty men commit against women. This is not necessarily a bad thing considering the films subject matter and message. The fantasy action sequences walk a fine line between being totally cool and completely ridiculous. If I have any real complaints about Sucker Punch its that it had the exact ending I predicted it would have.
