If you've not heard the song "Like a G6" by Far East Movement, it is as stupid as it is awful, and it is incredibly fucking stupid. I don't recommend listening to it if you can help it -- especially now that there's an infinitely superior, genuinely clever, RPG-themed parody available. Thanks to Edgar N. and Sceadeau for the tip.

4.0 sadly, your saves become 50/50 chances, no need for a d20 on unmodified rolls. lightning is available from first level, dealing 1d6 damage. why do I know this, I'm a gimicky wizard, who really wants to get back to 3.5, but can't find a good DM.

Eh, you've just gotta take "like a G6" for what it is - a club song about getting drunk, being a jackass, and fucking, with a lot of BOOM BOOM BOOM and autotune... you know, like most music out there, only with the talentless Dev (amazing what giant boobs can get you). It's a shame because Far East Movement is actually pretty good and although catchy, that song was... no. Just no. Otherwise, this is hilarious. Fucking amazing.

I call shenanigans! Real nerds know you roll a D20 for saving throws and pickpocket attempts in D&D. Most lightning bolts are a minimum of 3D6. Obviously, they're just aiming for a clever rhyme scheme. Still better than the original.

I give props to the Potter "Feeling Fly Like It's Quidditch" version for the music (it should be around here on Topless I think...); but I have to say the actual video design on this one spits on "Quidditch" as it flies past. (Not that that's a slam against the "Quidditch" version; obviously the video portion was put together over a weekend pretty quickly. This looks like several months work by many people.)

The Like a G6 song is so ready to be parodied (and this is the 3rd one I've already heard, but so far the best) that it almost makes me think it was made just for that reason... kind of like the idea some folks have that Rocky Horror was meant to become what it is in the midnight circuit realm completely by design...

This was awesome! Granted, I'll admit to actually enjoying the original song (it's catchy - leave me alone...) but this was well done and funny. I think there's a certain irony to the fact that in order to listen to this I had to hit pause on the "Lord of the Rings Score - Complete Recordings" I was listening too...
