• The answer is actually very simple. It started in late 2010, when 4chan discovered <a href="http://www.cartoonbrew.com/ideas-commentary/the-end-of-the-creator-driven-era.html">this article</a> and decided to watch the show out of pure spite. When they saw that the show wasn't completely terrible, they started making memes out of it, as is their wont. And it just kept expanding from there. So that's really the whole origin story of the "brony" phenomenon. Someone told the internet "you shouldn't enjoy My Little Pony," and the internet said "fuck you, buddy, we're going to enjoy My Little Pony just to piss you off."

• Yeah...  It just makes me sad is all.  It isn't funny, or interesting, or new.  It is just sad.  If this was made before "Happy Tree Friends" and used the original ponies or even the effing Care Bears, super.  I might have appreciated the ironic shock value.  But this is about as original as toast.  A FFF involving My Little Ponies,  the Rancor, Galadriel and a tube sock  would have made a more positive impression because at least I might have been impressed with how the tube sock was worked in.  Oh well.

• I loved that. Great animation, catchy song, better plot than 3/4th of the "Horror" movies I've seen this year and the sewn up dancing monstrosity pony was a nice touch.
