Unlike some, I'm damned excited about part two of season two of Walking Dead coming out next month, so I really didn't need an exciting, action-packed trailer for it, full of guns, running ,car wrecks, fighting, yelling, stern looks and other shit. I certainly don't mind it, though. My only wish at this point is that Rick's "WE ALL KNOW THIS IS NOT GONNA END WELL" run at the end of every single Walking Dead commercial, promo, and everything else. It's just too perfect. I can see scheduling around Sundays/sports, but that's just a week or two. Two, three, four months (looking at you BSG) particularly over non-holiday months is silly. I'm sure there have been a few shows that lost viewers because they were only just getting into the show when the half season ended and went to watch something else. I know it happened with me and Heroes, but that show had other issues I admit.

If you say so. The show wouldn't even have existed without the comic laying the groundwork, so I guess that makes the show C-grade crap that got overrated because it's about zombies, but never mind that I guess. Maybe it could have at least been equal, but as it stands, the show is getting pulled around in several directions due to switching gears on a creative team since AMC is lukewarm on giving the show a proper budget. I can't call the writing superior when we get gems like characters running away from exploding CDC buildings in the nick of time and spending half a season looking for a useless party member. People are starting to get restless waiting for this show to gel, and it's becoming apparent among the viewership. I can't really say that about the comic. It has stayed fairly consistent, yet is always surprising, and it's the voice of one author at least. But, I'm waiting to see if the show can turn it around. I'll give the rest of this season a chance.

The TV show is so much better than the comics it's not even funny. The show is one of the few pieces of zombie art that actually stands on its own. The comic is c grade crap that gets overrated because its a comic about zombies. The writing is terrible. The characters are cardboard. The dialogue is stilted.

Yeah, I realized that after I watched it again. But a girl can dream, right?
-
Somehow I don't think AMC can pull that off.
-
oh shit.. was that Carl in the woods with his hat all upset and holding a gun????? please be what I think it is...

It is actually a rather good idea as a studio head for the following reasons: 1: Holiday Sundays = Religious holidays fell on Sunday this year and of course there are those sports events too. Do you really think that a new episode of TWD would be able to stand up against Christmas or the Super Bowl? Why burn your new stuff why compete for your audience when you know what would be more likely to go the DVR route? 2: Hell on Wheels = this show needed to be unchained from being just that western rapper show shoved between airings of TWD. AMC needs this self produced show to catch on and succeed and since it is launched, let it be the focus. 3. Bad Press = SPOILER ALERT - Lets kill Zombie Kids! Airing the upcoming episodes right away allows for more negative impact and less buzz. The people that missed it where able to catch it and the pundits that have less missing white women to report on are less likely to chat about a show from two months ago. 4. They did replace the showrunner = time to check the progress of the show and make sure that AMC keeps it on the rails / more time to check on what the fans think and adjust the later episodes to make it better.

We need to invent a time machine to go back in time and retroactively abort whatever studio executives thought splitting a season in two by several months was a good idea.
-
It's Sophia.
-
Where else they gonna' go? You obviously never read the comic.
-
Haha, indeed!
-
Should rename the site Topless Trollbot...wow...I thought part one of season 2 was awesome and have no problem with them staying on the farm...where else they gonna' go? I can't wait for it to come back on the air.
-
"WE ALL KNOW THIS IS NOT GONNA END WELL" can be the shows catch phrase. Rick can mug to the camera at the end of every episode and say "WE ALL KNOW THIS IS NOT GONNA END WELL!" as the "live" studio *wink* laughs. Then the cast can chase a zombie around the farm while the Yakkaty Sax song plays. See? I'm already doing better than Darabont and Mazzara combined.
-
They should have just renamed the damn show "Searching for Sophie".
-
Great. Another season stuck on a fucking farm where nothing happens. AMC killed this show deader than a zombie.
-
You know, I feel I should be excited, since Zombies are my thing and all, but somehow....
-
I'm still watching, I just kinda hate that the show is turning all the comic's awesome characters into a bunch of whiney-shits with zero momentum. I'll give it a few more eps to see where it goes, but it's getting close to being a low priority show for me.
-
Is that Andrea being covered up? Because I've said for awhile she needs to go. What a liability. Also, she's obnoxious.
-
As long as it isn't as terrible as the last part of the season, I'll enjoy it at least. I'll watch it even if it's bad though. Zombies and all... Does it sound feasible that a troupe of people trying to survive would spend so long looking for a girl? No. And it made for boring episodes. Ugh, I didn't mean to bitch that much.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! I fucking hate when I want to watch a video and it says "Content not allowed in your country". Fuck this shit! Feels like you're not good enough for those videos.
