Now, MTV Geek has more pics of the new cartoon line, which includes a motorcycle, a van (called the Shellraiser, awesomely), an enormous skateboard for Michaelangelo, some role-play stuff, and some FX figures which are merely okay. But here's the cherry on this turtle-flavored sundae of greatness:

Good ol' Krang looks cool without that weirdo Homer Simpsons suit.
-
I've often wondered what the fanboy equivalent to prostitution would be. I can't say I blame you, though.
-
The playset has successfully illicited an emotional response from the Vulcan boy.
-
I'm guessing it also makes for more stable figures.
-
Holy crap, dude. Thank you! I never saw those before... Goodbye $125!
-
DAM I WANT THIS PLAY SET .....
-
That playset is awesome. I felt that the street level was the main thing missing from the previous sewer playset. It doesn't feel like a sewer unless it's under a street.
-
I did not know that. You sir are a nerd. And I applaud you.
-
Oh just get the NECA ones.
-
Punching bag.
-
Well, I used to be in the position of not being able to afford it-- but I turned in my man-card and started customizing ponies... now my pony habit pays for all my toys. I think all my Transformers are crying on the inside...
-
That's the same thought I had, and then remembered I have no budget for it. Looks like I'll have to get my 6 year old interested in Turtles now so I can play with his toys.
-
they are made of turtle meat? oh no that song will be stuck in my head all day now
-
Wow. WOW. I want that playset. When I was a kid I made a Sewer Lair out of a shoebox. My Michaelangelo doll would have killed for digs like that.
-
Is that a hangman's post down the bottom there? With a corpse hanging from it? I'm liberal when it comes to toys featuring guns and stuff, but seriously, isn't that a bit dark?
-
And apparently played with by young Vulcans if the picture is anything to go by.
-
My inner child is super jealous, especially of that "Classics" line. They only look similar to the cartoon, but I don't remember a single TMNT toy I had that had moving fingers.
-
Wow! Wow! wow! wow! Wo....wait...three toe's? Ah what the heck! Wow!
-
I'll admit I was never a huge fan of TMNT when I was a kid, but I did like the toys. Well, Kid Ood would certainly love these suckers. I wish they would do black & white versions as a tribute to the original Eastman & Laird comics, though. I'd pay extra for them...
-
that was it's o-face
-
Only if you got the deluxe set. My mom bought the regular set and the castle looked horrified.
-
That playset it awesome.
-
THAT'S how you do a playset. I want those classic Turtles... Added articulation?!?!? Win! Even those new look Turtles look good. As long as you leave the pupils/irises out...
-
Good GOD! That playset! It's this generation's "Castle Grayskull"!
-
These toys are probably the greatest things I've seen all day...and I've seen boobs today. Granted, thats probably why I don't get to see boobs more often, but I still stand by my statement.
-
Holy shit! I'm not even a TMNT fan and I think that playset is fucking fantastic. It's...it's beautiful.
-
:O Want play set! It's totally cool to ask for this as a baby shower gift, right? I don't even need the Turtle figures; my parents kept all ours from the 90s.
-
All right, underage mutant interspecies romance! Try THAT on for size, Parents Television Council!
-
I love how they think a child is ever going to get close to that Secret Sewer Lair playset. It's probably going to cost 250 bucks and will only be on a limited run.
-
Where the hell is Casey Jones?
-
which was the greatest playset since the squid meets hogwarts castle lego set.
-
Cartoon Krang was based on the Utroms from the original Mirage comic, and the toy above is an updated Utrom robot body. It might not even be Krang. Krang apparently only had a joke cameo appearance in the 2003 series, as a complaining Utrom.
-
I think Kang is at the tippity-top, inside that robot-looking thing.
-
I think I saw a picture when TMNT 2012 was first announced showing Mikey with a karma and chain (i.e. mini scythe blade with a weight on the end of a chain; idea being you'd wrap up someone with the chain then go in for the kill with the scythe), and I think Don also has a retractable blade in his bow. Honestly I'm 50/50; I was looking at TMNT figs on eBay earlier, trying to find all four in a reasonable budget but I may hold off until these are released as I like the detailing and don't mind weapon "upgrade" as much. Plus they're likely to be cheaper than what I was seeing earlier.
-
I always preferred Snake Mountain, myself.
-
That's a pretty damn sweet playset.
-
Looking back at my childhood and the times my sister and I were forced to play together, they will not look silly at all.
-
I totally going to start buying Turtles toys again.
-
You're 19 years late, Playmates! *sobs*
-
that kid dosent deserve to play whit those toys..f # him..i bet he dosent even know who casey jones is.. send them to me ..this 30 something year old would love them more than some snot nose punk...this world is not faiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG
-
Why no CD of this? WHAT A WASTED CHANCE TO EARN MY MONEY, PEOPLE! But really, an extended version, HQ sound or a nice cover would be good, actually.
-
Why is Michaelangelo so angry? He's a party dude.
-
Short of curing cancer, ending world hunger, or bringing peace to the Middle East...NO child has been good enough to deserve the Secret Sewer Lair as a gift.
-
My neice informed me that she does not like Ninja Turtles today. I am heartbroken. Guess I'm playing with that sewer playset on my own, then...
-
I agree.
-
April is supposed to be 16 in the new cartoon. Oh, and Donatello has a crush on her. Yeah.
-
I am not ashamed to say this has been my phones ringtone for about a month.
-
Maybe it's her daughter... ...nah, not interesting enough. Ah! Secret illegitimate daughter! With Leonardo! (There, that'll blow a few fuses.)
-
The three toes thing was objected to by fans when we first saw pictures last year, but they seem determined to keep them. I suppose we will come used to them in time.
-
Well, the toy always came with extra weapons so as long he has his dual chucks or can atlest store both of them, then its okay. The chain is way short doh. Also looks like Classic Mike has METAL chains, SHELL YEAH too that!
-
OW FUCK! My poor wallet...
-
Much as I like the designs and articulation of the new figures, I was sitting here grumbling to myself over the lack of ankle articulation, especially considering how much thought was put into every other joint. However, after just spending way longer than I should have on my lunch break carefully poring over the larger images over at MTV Geek, I honestly believe the figures' ankle wraps conceal well-designed swivel and, yes, possibly even hinged, ankle joints! My grumbling has ceased, and my pining has begun...
-
or the time traveling villain of Marvel Comics fame :)
-
which is how the Utroms looked in the Mirage comic :)
-
Which was the greatest playset since the Care Bears portable rape rack!
-
Noticed the turtles now have three toes on each foot. Not sure if I care or not about this. Will definitly be buying one of each. (maybe two of each, one to open. One to keep with my original unopeneds)
-
Think of this as them trying to get the female demographic by doing a female lead. Like how with Transformers Animated, Cartoon Network wanted a female human lead.
-
hot, red hot jail bait that is!
-
which was the greatest playset since the scale model of fisto with detachable loincloth
-
I'm guessing it's to align with the '3 fingers' thing.
-
The Retaliation figures are even better than these Ninja Turtles figures! It's gonna be a great year.
-
The April from the new show is going to be a teenage girl... Expect to see some loli-April on FFF
-
She's a teen kid now, so draw your own conclusions. Hopefully one that doesn't put you on a sex offenders list.
-
THe important question: Will April O'neil be hot in this version?
-
Well looks like Birthday and Christmas Shopping is done for the year For my son, not for me, I mean come one why would I want toys of cartoon turtles that are actually not just repaints with different weapons, and OH MY GOD I NEED THEM NOW
-
Tubular TMNT set. I would have MURDERED for this before.
-
So it looks like Michaelangelo now has one nunchuck and one scyth. Huh. What do you guys think about that?
-
Sweet zombie Jesus, that is awesome!
-
Krang is on the top level of the playset. Raph has got a gun pointed at him. It look like they gave him an updated robot body which is sad. I liked the mentally handicapped looking robot of the 80's!
-
Kang was also a Klingon Comander in TOS and DS9. It's where Simpsons got the name. And I dare say that this is the best TMNT playset since the Technodrome way back in the day. My friend had that and I always wanted to play with it when I was at his house.
-
Well its a new decade and a new century and it is apparently time for April O'Neil to be some kind of teen skater girl or something.
-
And THAT was the greatest playset since the "Potimus' beautifully adorned rectum" set Hasbro made for Transformers/Star Wars Crossovers
-
But the jumpsuit makes her look like a banana in desperate need of sausages!
-
Despite my hatred of how April looks, my five year old self wants that playset hardcore. Seriously.
-
Marvel Legends TMNT figures sound nifty.
-
While I always found that the yellow jumpsuit made April look ridiculously proportioned, that figure looks like 15 year old girl. Is she supposed to? April is now a teenage girl? Fuck, I miss the 80s.
-
Meh. Unless I get Muckman, Scumbug, Wyrm, and Antrax, I'm not interested.
-
That is the neatest playset I have ever seen. I want that waaaaaay more than someone my age should.
-
Hello Mr. Irate. It's nice to make your acquaintance. :)
-
Criminey. I think that might beat the old TMNT Technodrome playset from my childhood wishlists. Hey, and there's a tomboyish April figure at the lower-left! Double-win!
-
No yellow Jumpsuit, no April. I am mildly irate.
-
LEONARDO LEADS! DONATELLO DOES MACHINES! (That's a fact jack!) RAPHAEL IS COOL, BUT RUDE! (Get a grip!) MICHAELANGELO IS A PARTY DUDE! (PARTY!)
-
You know how lots of you guys felt about Transformers Classics figures (which I love due to loving the IDW comics written by Furman, Roche, Roberts and Barber) and the classic Thundercats or He-Man toys? That's how I feel about the TMNT classics line. It's like I'm a little kid watching the original show on VHS!
-
I've been waiting for months to see what these figures would look like. I'm happy to see that the third toe doesn't bother me at all, I actually think it looks kind of cool. I'm getting all four, I skipped the TMNT movie figs and regret it now; so all of these, mine.
-
...and suddenly, after seeing Michaelangelo, the only thing that sounds in my head is... TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES! TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES! TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES! HEROES IN A HALF SHELL, TURTLE POWER!! COWAAAAAABUNGA!!! (Sincerely, my inner child).
-
Ugh...I wish you hadn't pointed that out...mutant turtles, teenage ninja or not, should only have two toes...
-
You just know some kid's gonna smear it with shit to give it that authentic sewer feculent air.
-
WooHoo!! New toy line to collect! /*sweeps arm knocking away last line just completed*/ Who needs to eat anyway!
-
Muck Fattel... The New DC figures don't mean anything to me... After Sorceress and Fisto, I'm back to being a Turtle fan (Until Mattel does Glimmer)...
-
you have a thing for turtle feet?
-
I think the blue thing at the bottom is a dummy shaped vaguelylike the shredder for the turtles to beat on...
-
Why do the turtles have three toes now? Or better yet: why does it bother me so much that the turtles have three toes now?
-
brains are (usually) located there.
-
it's the greatest playset since tsu'tey stripped nekkid
-
looks like a terminator exoskeleton with a brain in the crotch, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. that non-human robot thing from the 90's never sat well with me.
-
That is one hell of a playset!
-
Gotta love that institutional green used in the playset. I'm sure it will promote calm play in children.
-
Awwww crap. I'm going to be collecting another toy-line now, aren't I? Yup. I am. I wonder how silly the turtles will look riding around on pastel-colored ponies?
-
Very cool...now, do it again in scale with Hasbro 3.75" figures...I want a Marvel / Turtles crossover battle scene on my desk...
