On April Fool's Day, Adult Swim pulled on of its patented pranks by airing Toonami, their old anime block that contained Dragonball Z, Gundam Wing, and more. They even had new bumpers with Tom, the original robot host. It was marvelous, but it was also incredibly cruel, because Toonami was awesome and the world has been a poorer place since its cancellation in 2008. Then Adult Swim asked on Twitter how many people were interested in Toonami returning, using the hashtag "#bringbacktoonami." And now this happened (thanks to Michael S. for the tip):
DO NOT FUCKING TOY WITH ME, ADULT SWIM. I WILL STAY TUNED. AND IF THIS IS SOME CRUEL JOKE, I WILL COME FOR YOU. I KNOW WHERE WILLIAMS STREET IS. I'VE BEEN THERE. I WILL FIND YOU, AND I WILL THROW YOU OUT OF AN AIRPLANE AND THEN SHOOT YOU AS YOU FALL JUST LIKE LADY UNE DID TO THAT DUDE IN THAT ONE EPISODE OF GUNDAM WING BECAUSE SHE WAS CRAZY AS SHIT. BRING. BACK. TOONAMI. THAT IS ALL.
