A DuckTales theme song cover with a Rage Against the Machine-style breakdown in the middle? Why, I don't mind if I do. If you recognize the gent playing the guitar, it's because he's The Human Tim, who also did that awesome metal Katamari Damacy cover a while back. So infinitely superior to that crappy "Heavy Metal Doctor Who Theme" making the rounds this morning.
The part of me that loves awesomeness loves this, but I'm not really hearing a super strong Rage influence, other than the bit of the solo that quotes part of the solo from that Audioslave song "Like a Stone.". This has been another lovely visit from The Metal Pedant.
This reminds me of that idiotic video that was on TR which focused on Scrooge's three precocious nephews, though in the video, they were portrayed by three naked twenty-something guys, and one of them had a legitimate long duck dong.
I ALWAYS have the DuckTales theme or one of the video game stage tunes constantly playing in my head, and now this!
