No. The second most famous puppet show after MST3K was 'The Letter People'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIpm6M6ecBM Wow, do I feel old.
I have no idea who made this or why, but Alan Moore's Crazy Snake God bless 'em. All this needs is a special guest appearance by "Smile Time" Angel and it would be the second greatest puppet show ever made (after MST3K, of course). Much thanks to Terry L. for the tip.

This remind anyone else of that one doujinshi starring moe versions of Messers Alan and Neil?
I saw no "realism" in the Watchmen movie. Unless you count the "Sucker Punch/300/Sin City" aesthetics as "realism"
I just want to mention that I am a huge fan of the Watchmen series, have been since '86. I am a fan of the film, and I for one am glad they really didn't do an giant alien squid, which would have really detracted from the realism (yeah I know how that sounds coming from a comic book adaption) of the movie, and was able to keep the same thought and idea that the endgame was supposed to convey. Now the first 3 new Watchmen comics have come out, and so far I like them, they stand up fairly well to the source material, that's all I can say.
(DISCLAIMER: While I enjoy several of Alan Moore's works and have respect for his talent, the following statements are about Alan Moore the person, not his skills or talents) That was an awesome puppet video, because, seriously, at this point, fuck Alan Moore. I'm so sick of his whiny, pessimistic ass. I think its great seeing effigy-Gaiman take the piss out of effigy-Moore. Two thumbs up for this vid.
Hey I know that bowler be-hatted puppet...though Neil seems to be missing his cool guy shades (how else would you know he's a cool guy?). That was by AAl & Matt over at the http://sarcasticvoyage.com/
