love the reaction when she thinks at long last the egg is coming out only to be a stuffed angry bird
I'm on record as really enjoying the surgery machine scene in Prometheus, because while it didn't make a lot of sense, it was incredibly well-shot and visceral, both physically and emotionally. However, that's not to say this animation isn't a shockingly accurate representation of the scene as it happened in Prometheus. Actually, in some ways it's even better, and by "some ways" I mean "hideous sprays of blood." Much thanks to Myron S. for the tip.

I'm quickly realizing that Lindelof is a hack. I no longer have high hopes for the Star Trek sequel.
What I liked best about the scene was that I'd managed to completely avoid all spoilers before watching the film, so I didn't know it was coming and wasn't expecting it to be as gory as it was. This animation definitely makes it better though.
An angry bird wouldn't have made the original scene any dumber. How is Damon Lindelof a better writer than Tommy Wiseau again? An engineer saying it definitely had breast cancer wouldn't have caught me the slightest bit off guard.
