Sure, zombies generally kill people. But sometimes they save people, as this very, very strange PSA from the Heart & Stroke Foundation shows. When a woman surrounded by zombies keels over from cardiac arrest, these helpful zombies perform CPR, bringing her "back from the dead" -- and then the zombies eat her. I like the idea of zombies going out of their way to keep their meals hot, so to speak, but I have to wonder if this whole thing wasn't intentional from the start, and this is the zombie equivalent of tenderizing their meat or something. why did she wake up as a zombie? she should have been eaten.zombies only become zombies if they're bitten/infected and escape being consumed. they become zombies after they escape and the infection takes place. pfft
It was directed by Vicenzo natali, directo of The Cube, Nothing, Cypher and Splice
What next? Vampires performing a blood transfusion? Mummies promoting organ donation? Werewolves doing commercials for Hans Wiemann?
It's fun seeing my city as a zombie wasteland. The other time was in the second Resident Evil movie (the only reason I watched that in a theater).
Also, the zombie effect on that first zombie was really well done. Looked like a strange mix of animatronics and make up.
@Wataa Having your home town overrun by the undead can be entertaining. I lived in Fort Myers way back when the exterior shots for Day of the Dead were shot there (most of which was actually shot on Sanibel Island. Lots of locals as extras. Other than that and the bombing of the local DEA offices by a Colombian drug cartel - not much ever happened in Fort Myers back then.
@Gallen_Dugall Oh that reminds me, Land of the Dead was filmed here in Toronto too. My brother was in one of the crowds being eaten by a zombie girl someplace. He'll be missed.
this psa shows that even the undead are not going to let some one die before they eat them and also how one should really now cpr .after all even a zombie does not want its meal to be rotten
See? We're not all bad! We do good works! And those Zombies didn't eat her at the end, they gave her a giant group hug.
Remember, inside every living person is a dead one waiting to get out.
