"Hey, i'd like to get one of those HALs" "I'm afraid I can't let you do that David" "What? But its 2001! Talking HAL!" "That's incredibly stupid Dave. You can buy an actual computer for what that costs" "Oh yeah, huh"

I am so over Sailor Moon, just sexist crap where the blonde bimbo is the only one that got the happy ending while her friends did ALL the work and were treated like soggy rugs.
HAL 9000 on the other hand, COOL! But for 500 bucks I want 100's of sayings.
And if you combined them all you would get: Mortal Moon 9000! LOL! I am evil! ...Oh, by the way... I didn't know Shao Khan was into gay bondage? Oh well, what ever floot's his boat to Castlevania, I guess...
Unless it sings "Daisy" in a slowed down voice....the Hal 9000 repica is not worth it.
And pervert otaku everywhere jumped up with joy. Well, provided they have the energy to stand up to begin with, but you know what I mean.
@NeoRickicker It's hard to stand with your pants around your ankles and your boner carving your name under the desk top.
Also I am surprised no one has made a line of porn star figures. That is a thought I just had. Wonder if McFarlane toys is up for that?
@arivalscientist I need to stop drinking so early - I was a minute and a half in before I got that
The MK set looks great, but that Sailor Moon, need her! Fingers crossed for a Pluto one, but that probably won't be for quite some time.
Re: the Sailor Moon figures, let's hope that Bluefin Tamashii's able to bring them over to North America. If anything stops that from happening, it'll be licensing concerns (which is why they can't just bring over Japanese Sentai merch and rebrand it wholesale - Bandai of America != Bandai of Japan.)
Bluefin's done a good job of catering to the North American collector market though, and we to them (North American collector demand is the reason they're still making Dragonball SH Figuarts toys; they've confirmed this in interviews). So I can see Amazon, BBTS, and other North American retailers getting direct, official imports of these - like how the SRC Daizujin (MMPR Megazord) is getting officially imported complete with modified packaging to better cater to the North American market.
Did anyone give an idea how much the Senshi are going to be? A Sailor V could look good on my Nick-Nack shelf.
@Someguy Forget Senshi, why do you have a shelf for the body of Herve Villechaize?
@Someguy Figuarts prices can vary from release to release - it depends on whether or not it's being imported from Japan or acquired directly through Bluefin's distribution (they're the North American arm of TamashiiNations, which makes Figuarts).
As well, there's a tendency of them to jack up the price for certain releases - Kamen Rider SH Figuarts releases tend to be around 35-40 bucks via Bluefin nowadays, but Tiger and Bunny stuff can be 10-20 bucks more, which is probably partly due to "because the fans will pay this".
And then for that matter, the Shikenger SHFs that came out at TRU were 25 bucks if memory serves, and were identical to the Japanese releases save for translated instructions.
I'd say probably between 30-60 bucks if the figures are being imported, and if it's only gonna be available as a web exclusive in Japan you're looking at at least 100, unless you can find some near-mint ones cheap online (which is possible).
Best bet is to keep an eye on the Bluefin Tamashii Nations Facebook page for news on releases.
@Lithroe Agreed, they can make this thing out of real metal, have it have 100's of sayings for no more than $150. But only getting 15 sayings is such a rip off.
@Lithroe They could have least thrown a Raspberry Pi in there and made him an actual computer...
