Never thought I'd say this. I'm actually taken aback by the production values of a sweded trailer. Forget cams, these should be the preferred bootlegs.
As much as I'm looking forward to Pacific Rim, I love how this low budget, shot-for-shot reproduction expertly skewers its self-seriousness just by copying it as exactly as one can with cardboard and home-fitnesss machines. That last stunt is...impressive?

Actually all of the special effects were quite good. Made very effective use of Styrofoam peanuts as water.
Interesting to note how the lighting is all "room level" here and all "dark and shadowy" in the actual trailer yet this still works. Okay on second view through they did alter lighting - but overall this was much "brighter"
I'm a little disappointed they didn't get the third arm on the what I think is the Chinese unit
I'd still rather have an "Ogre" movie

You know what? Even watching these guys is making me excited to see Pacific Rim.
