Action Has a New Sound, and That Sound Is Wakka Wakka Wakka

Fabulously wealthy TR commenter Keith mentioned this YouTube clip in the comments to this article, and I'm damned if could avoid sharing it with you all. Basically, it's the only way a Pac-Man movie could ever work, a feat I would have claimed was impossible just this morning. All hail these gents, and Keith for pointing it out. And don't forget the cherry!

The best thing about little independent clips like this is that when Hollywood gets around to making the actual pac-man movie, and they will, they will have to contend with this.
Posted 05/21/2008 at 01:31:09 PMI made this little animation based off the threadless shirt design
I also came up with this script treatment for a PAC Man movie:
In 2980 Man has achived the ability to travel the stars. To do so they use a craft called the P.A.C.. Platformed Astro Craft. Since aerodynamics are null in a vaccum they've gone with utility.
There's 256 levels and on it's first launch it encountered a black hole and one crew member who was on the first floor survived.
Thousands of the ships inhabitants simply vanished. While 4 who were on the 256th level working on a glitch in the shielding were trapped in limbo. The condition drove them mad, and when they discovered the last survivor they placed the blame on him and wanted revenge.
The last Man aboard the PAC now must work his way to the 256th level while activating the lock down switches and taking in fruit on occasion to avoid scurvy. His only defense is 4 prototype dimensional reactors on each level.
