I would like to officially rescind my doubts about Rose McGowan playing Red Sonja. Frankly, when she broke up with Robert Rodriguez a few months ago, I assumed this thing was doomed, or at least that Rodriquez would give the role to whatever new starlet he started fucking—apparently not, and both he and McGowan were on the Red Sonja panel yesterday and were amiable, I'm told. There's another equally awesome poster after the jump.

Actually, Rodriguez and McGowan are still together. The rumors of the break-up were greatly exaggerated. As are the rumors, which came out of nowhere, that Jessica Alba was replacing her on the movie.
