Geek Apparel of the Week: Jack Burton's Shirt
Posted at 2:15 PM Oct 30, 2008

Before you start bitching, yes, this shirt—worn by Kurt Russell in his finest role as Jack Burton in the masterpiece which is Big Trouble in Little China—is also available as a tank-top. Obviously. You can order it here at Found Item Clothing for $22.
But make sure you look around the stpre, because I was hard-pressed to figure out which of FIC's awesome shirts to pick for this week's Geek Apparel. There are shirts from and inspired by Spinal Tap, Stripes, Tron, Monster Squad, Repo Man, UHF...and so very much more. Of course, I had to pick Jack's shirt in the end. Why? Because when some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."
