Bikes + Guitar Hero + Night + Way Too Much Time On Their Hands = Awesomeness (Somehow)

Holy fucking shit. Watch the video. Just watch it. Nothing I can say matters here—I mean, I can tell you that it's a Guitar Hero World Tour song (on Hard) reimagined as a bike ride—but that does no justice to the awesome feat of these kids by creating the track, doing the effects (on time!), and then riding it, in the night, perfectly in time with the music. I kind of hope this turns out to be some Activison viral video, because if not, these kids are going to have my damn job in the next two years. I can't ride a bike for shit, and sure as hell can't play Guitar Hero on Hard. (Via Filmdrunk)

Very cool

I have my doubts that it was just one long tracking shot though, they could have made some invisible edits to make it look continuous.

Watch your back, Bricken -- these young turks will take the blogging world by storm, as long as they can do it by printing out news stories and riding their bike over them. Plus, they'll have to ride past their friends re-creating the day's most popular viral videos and movie trailers.

Psh, they fail until they have three of them do Expert Panic Attack simultaneously.

On a really twisty road.

And just like that, in 3 minutes time, I realized nothing I will ever do (or my children for that matter), will ever amount to anything a quarter great as this...

Unfortunately, this wasn't done by fans ... but rather one of Activision's ad agencies.

The clip is still cool, but is now just a little tarnished. Sometimes Viral Advertising is a complete drag.
