Okay, Perhaps the New Star Trek Trailer Is a Tad Overdramatic

/Film found this wonderful fan video of the new Star Trek trailer, recut and set to the 90210 opening theme. Sad to say, it works pretty well, thanks to Kirk's ridiculous driving and Uhura's striptease. It also helps that the kid who plays Kirk looks like the love child of Luke Perry and Jason Priestly.

I love how this features footage from Harold & Kumar and Shaun of the Dead. Good fun.

That. Was. Hilarious.
Pardon my ignorance, I read the sight daily, but have been skimming over the Trek news as of late, but are Harold and Shaun (of the dead) really in the movie?

@ MyNoNos

John Cho is Sulu and Simon Pegg is Scotty in the film, yes :o

very funny. Simon Pegg is awesome.

However, am I the only one who was slightly thrown off by the person's inability to spell "Sylar" correctly? Maybe that's just me.

Awesome!!
This movie looks 2X as interesting now!

The trailer woulda been funnier had the author used a scene of Sulu chanting "MILF! MILF! MILF! MILF!"

Kirk really is the worst driver ever. I hope he takes some navigation courses at the academy. Hell, he probably could have beaten the Kobayashi Maru exercise fair and square if he hadn't simply skidded the ship into the Neutral Zone and jumped out the driver's side door.

Lame!

Nice editing.

But still, Star Trek is LAME.

George Lucas said:

And as LAME as I AM, I REALLY KNOW LAME. I mean I invented "Midichlorians". Can you believe that CRAP? What is wrong with me???

I guess Star Trek is cool then, assuming I'm so lame.
