• Anyone betting on The Goon over Dethklok is going to be sorely disappointed, I think. While not particularly strong or smart themselves, Dethklok has nigh-unlimited wealth, an army of violent goons, preternatural luck, music that causes natural and unnatural disasters, and most important, their manager/lawyer Charles Foster Ofdensen is an unstoppable badass with brains to spare. No matter what, this will be awesome.

• If you have a chance see them live. I saw them and it was almost too metal. I had my fingers chopped off by some dude and then they were thrown up on stage. Murderface rolled them up and smoked them! MURDERFACE! In all honesty, I did lose quite a bit of my hearing in my right ear. I look forward to telling my grandchildren that grandpa cant hear them because he lost his hearing at a cartoon metal concert.

• Yes, Skwisgaar is prone to making nearly every noun a plural by adding 's' to the end. He also uses the term 'dildo' as his pejorative of choice quite often. The voice-over did sound a little funny... like the voice actor was not warmed up or did not have a chance to rehearse the lines first.

• Everyone's correct, that's Skwisgaar narrating. But hell, Toki Wartooth also has a ridiculous Scandinavian accent. You blocked out TWO characters who talk like that. Brutal.

• Josh is right. Dethklok is a fantastic cartoon and a fantastic band. I actually saw them live and it rocked...er...metal-ed.

• Two members of Dethklok do indeed talk in that strange, broken English. Specifically, the narrator above is Skwisgaar Skwigelf, the bassist for the band who's from Sweden. The show is awesome, one of the two (Venture Brothers being the other) shows left on Adult Swim worth watching.
