I've been loving this and watching it every night when I get home. Episode 8 was totally badass.

YOu know when I think of things helping my childhood a huge wang never comes to mind. I mean I am pretty sure a giant wang and my childhood would kind of be like the flashback in the Venture Brothers, not mean but disturbing none the less.

Now adding some great jugs to my chidhood that I could stand for. But not a dick, adding a panis to a childhood is never for the best

Yes, these episodes are stunning. The storm shadow and snake eyes fight is epic to say the least. One thing that I did find funny was how the cobra vipers still have such a hard time hitting the joes. See the Siberian missile base attack and look at how many open shots those alley vipers get.

Yeah yeah, it's still just a cartoon, but it's still funny to me.

Resolute is awesome. But way too many Cobra mainstays gets killed off, which is a waste if there is to be any future Resolute. The deaths are realistic, but narrow the storytelling options for favorite characters.

True a lot of Cobras get offed. But, this is so awesome I just don't care. Plus, there are still tons of Cobra operatives that they can use.

Also, I hear that there is going to be an uncut version with more blood and such.

Goddamn this is some good stuff...I havent enjoyed GI JOE this much since I was a wee lad. Now I want a RESOLUTE series and I just bought the RESOLUTE Cobra Commander off of Ebay...my first JOE purchase since....hell,probably the 80's. If they make a figure of Scottish Nazi Destro,I may lose my damn mind!

I love Resolute, don't get me wrong, but I do have a few nit-picks

What they did with Storm Shadow pissed me off. He went from being an actual character to Mr. one-dimensional. Boo Hoo my master won't teach me the move he likes my friend best I hate everything wah wah wah. So while the fight was damn fantastic. His characterization was frustrating.

Oh yeah and in ep.9 with the cobras shooting at the Joes that was retarded. a group of blind monkeys would have been able to kill them when they were standing right there not moving and with NO cover.

But that's about it as far as complaints go. It does seem to be more of a one-shot finale since so many people are dieing, but hopefully they could clean the slate change a few things and do this as an actual show.

The ninja aspects of GI Joe have always struck me as phony and BS. If Resolute is just about anime ninjas somehow dodging bullets then slicing up 100's of Vipers - I can't say I'm really interested.

I'll give it a go though - not many eps on torrents though.

Man, you are so right about the new Iron Man. I caught a previous of it a few months ago and it is just silly. And what they did to Happy is a crime, turning him into a stereotypical dumb jock.

YES!!!! Scottish Nazi Destro WILL be mine!!!! This is now my most favorite GI JOE anything in the history of ever. I really hope somehow they can keep this going after the movie comes out....

The ninja stuff is allegedly par for the course when it comes to the Joes. You gotta remember that Snake Eyes is like the Wolverine of G.I.Joe.

Some of the dialogue was kinda . . . bad. "I'll kill you . . . with my hands!"? I mean, c'mon.

i'm loving resolute but i was nearly traumatized by the first episode. poor bazooka, he was the first joe i ever owned, and he even survived the stupid destructive teenage years...and he still has his removable helmet, not bad for being around for 24 years. then, killed off camera at the start of the show. poor bastard, i'll miss him.

I saw it last night and I thought it was great! The animation and voice acting was awesome and I really enjoyed the plot. Warren Ellis has always been a writer who likes to inject a little science fact into his stories so I liked how plausible some of the stuff I was watching was.

Would you mind if I made t-shirts that said "Warren Ellis made tender, passionate love to my childhood and he had an enormous dick" for an online store? I'm happy to funnel any profits into a PayPal account we both have access to cuz I'm not interested in making money -- I just think it would be HILARIOUS.

Rob, thank you for pointing out that GI Joe Resolute was going to be on Adult Swim/Cartoon network. I'd probably have missed it otherwise, and yes... the film definitely ocked. If we're very good girls and boys, it may be a litmus test to monitor feedback on a possibly expanded new animation series along these lines... which would so be the awesome and full of shiny, sparkly, bazooka busting win.

I just watched this and found it to be pretty cool. There doesn't seem to be a wasted moment. I'd like to see it on DVD or an expanded version. I don't think it will bring a new cartoon series. Everyone dies.
