• I saw the new trek today and was blown away as well......Or I wish it could be blown out of my memory...(Warning possible spoiler) I don't care about alternate universe Trek.....And seriously isn't it called Star Trek......(Not lame writers that can't think of another sci-fi idea other than time travel) Star Trek better than Star Wars --don't make me laugh......Paramount sold out all the Trekies by trying to hip it up (let's throw a Beastie Boys song on the soundtrack).....I haven't been this disappointed in a Trek film since Star Trek III Search for Spock (what a piece of crap that one was) And that is saying a lot because most of the Trek movies with a few exceptions were fair at best..... • Im a casual sci-fi fan and Im thinking Star Trek is a better franchise than Star Wars now. Star Wars is just whored out so much these days. I saw the new Star Trek movie and I was blown away. This video is just from bitter Star Wars fans who are jealous that they havent had anything decent to come out from their fiction for more than 2 decades.

• But unbeknownst to them, Kirk had already beamed up behind the Emperor and shot him in the face. Which brings me to a point - why the fuck have they not developed beaming tech in Star Wars? It seems plausible, given that they've developed sophisticated artificial intelligence, hyperdrives, and a fucking space station the size of a moon.

I guess someone knows that their own prequels suck ass and that maybe this new Trek will actually be a hit that revitalizes the Trek franchise unlike the prequel trilogy that tarnished Star Wars forever.
