I think it's just a color skewing from the photograph. The Thundercats logo looks more orange than red too.

- The orange tint to some of the red designs is a combination camera flash and having mixed the red fondant at 2am.

- Yeah, they were made out of Fondant. The fondant was flavoured with different essences so it tasted excellent, despite the still plasticy texture.

- And yes, GIRLFRIEND girlfriend. No My Little Pony cakes, sad to say.

- Ghostbuster!cake will never be eaten.

It actually is red, the camera just made it look orange for some reason. She used the same fondant for that one that she used on the Ghostbusters and Autobots cupcakes.

The Deadpool and Green Lantern ones are my favourites, but for all of them they are a fucking excellent job.

As one of the roommates to Mary and her amazing girlfriend. I can vouch for the awesomeness of these cupcakes. Had some friends over on Sunday and celebrated her birthday. It was really difficult to eat/destroy one of these masterpieces. Most of them still remain. I ate the Venom one! The Ghostbusters one is just breathtaking.

I too live with Mary and her amazing girlfriend. I kept Nix company for half the time she was in the kitchen making these. It was really awesome watching her work and I learned a lot. Also I ate the Autobots cupcake and while it was delicious I felt so guilty about destroying something so awesome.

@cuppy: the actual cupcakes were 1 dozen devil's food cake and 1 dozen orange cake.
