No matter what she says. I wouldn’t even bother to point this out, except that it’s a slow news day anyways (Doctor Who logos notwithstanding) and as a result of this, it’s kind of getting around. The genesis is this article from Comic Book Movie — let me quote the entirety of it so you don’t have to bother reading it:
Just got back from a press conference tonight with Beyonce and she spoke of a few upcoming movie projects. The last one on her list was Wonder Woman!
Yes, Wonder Woman! She said she has to meet up with the writers and directors in a couple months and things will start to pick up by mid-2010 for a late 2011 release. She said the writers were Stuart Beatti and David Elliot, the guys that wrote GI Joe: Rise of Cobra and the director was John Moore, the guy that directed Max Payne.
Unless Beyonce has recently been hired as an executive by the newly formed DC Entertainment, she don’t know shit. Warner might be meeting with all these people at some point, but no one has been hired, I guarantee it. Which is good, because this team-up fucking sounds horrible.
As a bonus, the “article” has no author, no mention of what “press conference” Beyonce was holding, or why a ComicBookMovie writer would be at a Beyonce press conference anyways. Just forget the whole thing. It’s bullshit.
