?Do you hate movies, money, or yourself? Then you might be interested to know that Paramount has announced Transformers Seven-Disc Limited Edition Collector’s Trilogy, due out on January 31st. Please note that this differs from the recently released Transformers Trilogy boxed set in that it is Blu-ray, comes with “a plaque of movie images signed by director Michael Bay” and comes in the above packaging, which is stupidly designed, puts dumb, obnoxious form over any sort of function, is devoid of any kind of personality, and most importantly has jack shit to do with Transformers (even the ones from the goddamned movies). It’s like the DVD box set in that it has a big “TF” on it, obviously, but it can’t even bother to put a fucking robot on it, let alone an Autobot, Decepticon, or just the normal Transformers logo. Really, the only way this Blu-ray set could be more insulting to actual Transformers fans if it had a picture of Michael Bay graphically shitting on a G1 Optimus Prime toy on the front. But even that would imply Transformers were somehow involved. (Via Seibertron)
