Yeah, it's an effing fantastic idea; I'd love to watch it, and I'd love to participate in it. But only if dipshits didn't come around and mess it up. It should be a shot for shot remake with true nerd respect for it. If you can't make a Falcon scene - don't take one. Driving your sister's car doesn't count. At least try. Fuck that. @Rob & demoncat: George Lucas loved the Phantom Edit which was made specifically from his still-new movie and took NO legal action against the fans for it.

Because of that, I think we're more likely to see Glen Beck be kind to a Democrat than see Lucas take any legal action... unless he decides to make it a bonus thing on a later DVD release.

After going to the site some of the things would not blend well at all.

I mean you go from lego to cardboard faces to animation to (i shit you not) a image of a 1940s boy sitting with President Lincoln (voices intact from original movie).

Your eyes can't take different backgrounds (re: lighting environments) and characters every 15 seconds, seriously.

or even better.... hopefully some controversy happens and one or more people end up unable to fulfill their claimed obligations and the whole stupid project ends up dying off and being canceled.

To all those haters out there: this is a brilliant idea. The best part of this whole endeavor is the jumping between and meshing of styles. If you want to see a more realistic portrayal THAN WATCH THE FUCKING MOVIE. Kudos to all the people who put time into this.

I for one think this is brilliant. For the guy who wonders if our poor little brains can take 15-second context switches, I imagine they've never watched Robot Chicken. I would not worry about that.

Beyond that, I think this is an amazing project, and it will be interesting to see so many different takes on the the movie and how to tell the story.

If you don't like it, don't watch it. For Karma, specifically: you are a hateful person. Jeez louise, try to remove that enormous spiky dildo from your ass for once.

This will be entertaining for about 10 minutes. Then all who watch will descend into a maddening migraine of misery.

Scene 103 is awesome. It's Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen played by two emo kids without any makeup, disguise or discernable effort to act in key. It goes beyond the sound barrier of ridiculous to become high art.
