In Latino Paranormal Activity Spin-Off, They Actually Leave the House
Eddie Murphy always wondered, after seeing The Amityville Horror, why white people in movies don’t just get out of the house when it’s haunted. Finally, a legit horror movie (as opposed to a spoof) shows non-white people doing exactly that…and I’m guessing from this trailer that it really doesn’t help that much.
And with that said, Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones actually has more of my interest than any of the series’ previous sequels. It’s still found footage, but the world looks to be opened up significantly.
I don’t practice Santeria, I ain’t got no crystal ball – but I think this could be just what the franchise needed.
