I know the whole "Thriller" thing has been very played out, but please -- please -- give Marvel's What The--?! version a shot. Partially because it includes Gambit's ridiculous accent taken to its logical conclusion, but mainly because it involves Stan Lee doing the Vincent Price narrator role, and it works out to a level of nirvanic perfection. And also, there's MODOK, which is never a bad thing. My only wish is that they'd had MODOK do the "Thriller" dance, but maybe they needed to save something for next Halloween.

And yet I prefer ItsJustSomeRandomGuy's amateur knockoffs then the official Marvel videos. I wonder why....
Oh yeah! They're funnier and more accurate!!

Yeah, I was just going to say the same thing. These videos are obviously inspired by Robot Chicken, but Deadpool serenading Ryan Reynolds is probably the best intentionally funny amateur video I've seen all year online.

I do like the Marvel/DC vids a lot more, probably just there loving portrayals of favourite characters and amateurish charm, but Gambit's delivery of 'I'll take you to the piggley-wiggley (sp?)' is the best thing I've heard ever.

Marvel needs to outsource all of their toy animation to Robot Chicken and just get it over with. I have yet to see a What The--?! video that even made me smile, much less laugh. The sad thing is that the potential is there. MODOK could be funny, but he falls short every time.
I'm a Marvel/DC and BBoy Joker ftw.

Well, I almost choked and did a spit take drinking some iced tea when a certain chrome dome showed up in those reaction shots. Ha. That was pretty damn good. Defiantly one of their best shorts yet.

The Hoff was the only thing that made me laugh on this vid... That gambit had a few problems with his accent... First he sounds like a wannabe country singer and then becomes a 80s TMNT toon Leatherhead...

The humor was hit-or-miss (more misses than hits), but the animation of Rogue and Gambit was excellent. If the "What The!?" animators got together with the writer(s?) of "Marvel vs DC", they would blow "Robot Chicken" away!
