That's not the subtitle to Bioshock 2, although it really should be. I need to confess something. As much as I enjoyed the first Bioshock, I realized the other day I wasn't in any big rush to play the sequel. Sure, I wanted it, but I didn't think I needed to buy it when it comes out next week (on the 9th) -- I have some other games to play and stuff I need to watch, so I was thinking about just waiting until after I finish the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII, whenever that might be. Then I saw this new trailer.
Yeah. I think I'll be picking up Bioshock 2 next week now.

Yeah, I'm picking this up next week. I loved the first one (and it's actually the first game I played that the "twist" made you feel really dirty). Not sure how the multiplayer will be, but I'm buying this one for the story anyway.

As Bioshock was the first game I got the the 360 (and the major reason to buy it) I am all sorts of excited for it next week.
Not to mention i should be finishing Mass Effect 2 today or Friday so I will be wide open for a new game.

Bioshock is one of my all time favorite games. it's what sold me on getting a 360. I beat it twice on that system and I'm playing through it third a time on the PS3. I should be done by the time this comes out but I don't know if I'll pick it up right away. I got a stack of games that need finishing first.

I just picked up a PS3 Slim 3 weeks ago and got Bioshock at the same time, still haven't played it though. This trailer makes me wish to start playing tonight as soon as I get home so as to prepare for my eventual purchase of the second one.

If this was actual in-game footage, that would be awesome and incredible and everyone should rush out and get it ASAP.
But as it looks like a rendered cinematic, who knows what the real game is going to look like or feel like at all.
I'm sure it will be great, but anyone thinking it's going to look like this trailer, be prepared to be disappointed by the actual in-game graphics.

The opening narration reminded me of the one for Fellowship of the Ring. It even sounded like Cate Blanchette.

I've already pre-ordered abd paid in full for the super rare chocolately covered mega ultra edition with art book, CD, LP, posters along with two extra playables in multiplayer levels... But what really got to me in this trailer is the fact the Little Sister calls the Big Daddy... Well, Daddy. I've never seen that in the first game. It was always Mr Bubbles or Mr B.
I am counting down the days. I'm even comng into work late so I can pick it up. I'd rather take a full day off but...

As a side note I find it really dramatic that in the face of the Big Sister who is obviously more powerful than he is, the Big Daddy still revs his drill and charges at her to protect his Little Sister. Dedication, thy name is Big Daddy.

A movie trailer with the strapline 'footage not from actual movie' wouldn't achieve such a rapturous (sorry) response.
