I always thought it was "Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater." Because it was a play on words. Furry Tales...instead of...fairy...tales...OH FUCK THIS SHIT IS STILL HAUNTING ME!!! I'm not sure what exactly was supposed to be so bad about this. This was just your average "cartoon does a loose adaptation of a popular movie" episode. Casting My Melody, the most HAX Sanrio character, as R2-D2, the most HAX Star Wars character, is pure genius. Heck, my only real problem with it was the lack of Badtzmaru as Han Solo shooting - or ice creaming, as the case might be - Keroppi as Greedo first.

I appreciate your concern for us jungle people. The Hulu guys are pretty much asking for some serious anthropophagy by setting up this country restriction shit.

I don't even need to watch this clip.. sadly I've seen it a few dozen times already (my 4 year old got it for Christmas - joy!). I mean, I'm a huge HK/SW fan girl, but even I can't take this stuff. There is a reason Hello Kitty doesn't have a mouth. The cartoons are just plain wrong! Heck, these were even made in the 80s, the golden age for cartoons but that doesn't even help em any.

If anyone actually WANTS to buy this, HULU has it wrong. It's Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater or as the box actually says: HK goes to the movies... because yes, there are more! This lovely DVD includes such 'gems' like:
K.T. - The Kitty Terrestrial
The Wizard of Paws
Kitty and the Kong
Paws - The Great White Dog Shark
and of course, Cat Wars where in a galaxy fur, fur away, princess kitty and friends unite to save planet Caturn and the entire kitty universe from the purr-fectly clawed clutches of Darth Catnip. It's a high-flyin' sci-fi adventure!

Call me crazy, but I thought it was fucking adorable.

I liked it. It's like a drug trip.

I know it's funny to take things like this out of context so everyone can rip on it, but I'm sure for small children who saw this it was enough to keep their attention on the screen. And it looks like the animators probably had some fun drawing it. I don't see what the big deal is, although I will say I didn't watch more than a couple minutes of it...

A little part of me died from watching this and the rest became an alcoholic.
