Guys, don't forget that I'll be live-blogging the two-hour Smallville: Absolute Justice event this Friday, starting at 8pm. Do I know anything about the JSA? Not at all. Have I seen an episode of Smallville in the last five years? Nope. Will that stop me from being a bastard? No chance. However, Smallville does have the advantage in that if it's even slightly coherent and not utterly boring for both hours, it will be a marked improvement over this season of Heroes. (Via DC's Source)

Holy crap... that was pretty badass. Seeing the star rod in action and Fate breaking out the ankh powers was nice. Plus Hawkman with his mace. Nice. If only the show had embrased its DC roots, I dunno, half a dozen or so seasons ago.

They've already turned Green Arrow into their Batman stand-in, and that's fine; but if they were to bring in the Question, they could do an actual mystery, with an actual detective that can solve it.
Bonus points if he never takes off the mask, and is voiced over by Jeffrey Combs, since even though the JLU version of the character isn't exactly accurate...he was a lot of fun.

I have never watched an episode of Smallville, but I am planning to do so just to see the JSA. Naturally, they have to ruin it by killing my favorite character.
