Topless Roboteer RobsAlva discovered that his local cable company is promoting its World Cup coverage netbooks or something with Star Wars. You don't need to speak Spanish to know that Darth has probably earned himself a red card. On the other hand, he and his Stormtroopers aren't blowing any vuvuzelas, so they're at least somewhat less evil than most people attending the World Cup.
Too funny! Perfectly timed with the World Cup, of course. Such a funny idea.
Hell, yeah.
No, Plunkett's review of Episode 3 is not yet out (I'd give it a few months), but he did recently post a review of the DVD left in his DVD player at the end of the episode 2 review - "Baby's Day Out"
there are 3 of these commercials, one for each of the games mexico has played in the world cup, i dont know if there will be more, considering mexico only has one game left.

Not to condone Force-choking the French or anything, but I sniggered.
Hi im mexican, this comercial says that during the world cup you can hire a cable and Internet service called yoo whitout them charging for instalation and for 100pesos or 10 dollars more a month you can get a star wars themmed notebook
So The Empire is actually France? That seems so wrong... but would explain their loosing...
Constantly.
ah cool i'm from mexico, and that comercials are the best thing in the World cup. and you haven't see the third episode. its versus Uruguay.
The Imperials officially sanctioned "favorite team" is supposed to be the Coruscant Clones, with ole Darth V as team captain. But your average Stormtrooper would probably tell you, after a few rounds of the local jet juice, that they hate the Clones because their mascot is more racist than the Trandosha Walking-Carpets.
<br>
Their REAL favourite team is the Alderaan Thrantas. There is an old myth that Grand Moff Tarkin was a HUGE Coruscant fan, and when he heard that the majority of his vat-boys loved the Thrantas, well, you know the rest of the story...
it says basically "to be continued" at the end, love to see more. and speaking of star wars awesomeness, did that guy post his review of episode 3 yet?
It's promoting the channel, and notebook covers. They just went with futbol-themed commercials because A) it's Mexico and B) it's timely.
That's not promoting World Cup coverage.
