You may or may not be aware that Los Angeles recently banned people from dressing up like superheroes and loitering on Hollywood Boulevard. Well, this week the heroes fought back -- and when I say fought back, I mean, Darth Vader, Superman, the Hulk and the White Power Ranger went to City Hall and held hand-made signs. Let's just say it wasn't exactly Civil War. My favorite part is the newsguy listing who RSVPed for the protest but didn't come, including Batman and Elmo. Batman, I understand, the Joker probably escaped again or something. But what the fuck was Elmo doing? What an asshole. Thanks to Mordbrand for the tip.
