Gah, the mis-synched dialogue is pretty irritating. Maybe it's because someone else pointed it out in the comments but now I can't not see it.
-
You don't have a problem with a show starring two alien teenagers who can pass for human and combine with their sentient android friend to make a giant robot, but you struggle with how preposterous Ilana's hair looked? To each his own I guess.
-
Sigh. Too late to the party. Hopefully you can update with a different source.

BA-DUM TISH!

HA!

God help us all...

Even among cat people, racial prejudice holds true.

Definitely a plus, that last one.

Rule 136 of the Grand List of Console RPG Cliches applies here: Dealing With Beautiful Women, Part 1 (Yuffie Rule) All good-looking young females are there to help you. This rule holds even when the girl in question is annoying, useless, or clearly evil. Check the complete list here: http://project-apollo.net/text/rpg.html

I disagree. My kid bro always managed to force his way onto my monitor whenever he even manages to catch the slightest glimpse of an animated anything (which makes viewing my hentai collection somewhat risque XD), and since the first time he saw that first trailer featured here on TR, he'd literally freak out each time there's a ThunderCat update and wanted me to tell/show him all about it. So yeah, ThunderCats still has some pull on the 9-year-old crowd, and I think it would be cool for me to be able to sit down with him and have yet another thing in common that we liked about.
-
Or, you know, you could try to be a little more positive and think that Panthro's role is somewhat spoiler-y, so it's not a good idea to show it here.
-
Thanks man! Youtube is being a retard/dick/pussy/retarded dick pussy by taking down that video, and I'm so glad you've provided an alternative. X3
-
Many thanks. Swiping this link.

There's a lot of hints dropped that implies that this isn't a reboot, but a sequel. Why the sequel has younger versions of the original cast, we'll just have to wait for the showing to find out.
-
While making Lion-O younger than in the original series makes much sense (as was done with 2002's He-Man cartoon), making Tygra (now his brothers?!?!?) and Cheetara younger as well makes no sense at all. Part of the appeal of the original series was that Lion-O was young and still learning and was surrounded by these older and wiser warriors from whome he learned. It's almost like the producers wanted to make Cheetara into the "hot chick"love-interest. And putting them on the same planet at Mumm-raa robs the series of the original's "exploration" aspect. I don't know why they couldn't just create a new story. It's like they wanted to use the "Thundercats" name to sell another series altogether.
-
Shhh! Don't get him riled up. He's probably one of these guys that still calls the internet the 'information super highway'. Let's just get off his lawn.
-
where else can we see this since it has been removed?
-
Warner Bros took down the vid :(
-
Freakin' sweet. Hope my Thundarr reboot turns out that good in a few years.
-
Glad to see I'm not alone in the hatred for JT. Thank you for your support.
-
Why Panthro is missing?
-
You notice how Panthro has been in NONE of the trailers? He's not even listed with the other cats on the cartoon network hp when I looked. Are they trying to keep a potential plot spoiler or something by omitting him from everything save for those teaser images? I wonder...
-
So real you can taste it?
-
And playing Panthro...Jar Jar Binks! Meesa Thundercats Ho!
-
Sure, leave Panthro out. Always the (as far as I understood) black Thundercat getting the short end of the fist-nunchuks. Maybe in the reboot, he's such a horribly offensive stereotype that they're waitng to spring it on us.
-
it probably costs 10 cents to make and the child computer simulations seem to love it.
-
That was pretty good. I've watched a couple of episodes of the new Voltron and that show is just horrible. And I'm not that impressed with the latest Transformers show either. But this feels right. The animation is solid and I like what they've done with the characters. Finallly, an 80's reboot that looks like it's worth watching.
-
Hopefully it'll last longer than the MYP He-Man.
-
honestly this is lame, no kids gonna watch this..only old farts who still peed in their pants..this is gonna end up like transformers animated trust me
-
By the way did anybody else think it sounded like Tigra was flirting with Lion-O?
-
You know as good as Sym-Bionic Titan was I always had trouble watching it because Princess Ilana's hair just looked so fucking stupid to me.
-
Okay did anybody else think it sounded like Tigra was flirting with Lion-O?
-
JOHNNY FUCKING TEST DOESN'T HAVE A TOYLINE, BUT THEY'RE STILL MAKING NEW EPISODES. Why? WHY GODAMMIT WHY?!!!
-
NOOOOOO GOD WHHHYYYY.... We must slay this monster with garlic and holy water, lest it gains a taste for human flesh!!!
-
I've seen it, and it was marginally funnier than the real thing. To clarify; THE PORNOGRPAHIC INTERNET SPOOF COMIC OF A SHITTY CANADIAN CARTOON...WAS ACTUALLY FUNNIER THAN THE REAL THING. And people were paid to make the actual cartoon. The mind boggles.
-
I now declare you My Favourite Colin Ever. (Screw you, Firth.)
-
You sir, are a hero. Thank you.
-
love the look of the thunder cats plus lion o looks more buff . not to mention snarf is silent for the whole clip.
-
Mirror mirror on the wall, Show me Thundercats preview, mirror and all. http://www.movieweb.com/tv/TExtzvDpCKTVBF/first-9-minutes
-
No Panthro? SRSLY?!
-
I SMELL THE SMELL OF A NEW FETISH!!!!
-
Does anyone even use the term Japan-imation any more? I mean, besides Strong Bad.
-
And thus a new generation of furries were born...
-
blocked already? BOOOO!!!!
-
Aaaaaaand.... IT'S GONE! Well, that's what happens when you post furry porn.
-
I cannot WAIT for this. And in better news for the network, my 5 year old and his cousin are salivating over the premier. They do right by the toy line and they will have one hell of a hit on their hands.
-
Thank goodness it was your own mouth. I'd hate to know if it was someone else's.
-
blocked already...
-
And it's already blocked :(
-
I think I just threw up in my mouth.
-
that's right, it's Larry Kenny
-
is lion-o's dad voiced by the dude who did lion-o's voice on the original?
-
I think I've just been (DUN DUN DUN) THUNDERSTRUCK
-
There is a Johnny Test porn comic series called Johnny Testicles being done at Jab Comix. Kinda scary...
-
I waspretty uninterested, but I gave it a watch, and it looks great. And I checked the VAs on IMDB and they have a lot of great VAs on this (including Medic from TF2). Overall, I'm really excited.
-
I think the main purpose of the show is filler. It's amazing how often I've found myself watching it if there's no other shows I want to watch on.
-
Well Thundercats has a toy line. Apparently the reason Symbionic Titan was canceled was because it didn't. It's a stupid reason, but that's what I read.
-
wow, just wow time to dust off those old fanfics of my mine :D
-
But the backgrounds are so pretty! And at least it's got the best features of Japanese cartoons and isn't just another half assed eyesore like that horrible Iron Man and Wolverine anime. It feels like a Ghibli movie to me, and that's very much a good thing.
-
As a Canadian, I apologize. Seriously, wow sorry. Worst thing since Celine.
-
I peed a little.
-
Seems like a follow-up. The series takes place on Third Earth not long-lost Thundera. Which, in my mind, is awesome!
-
Superb Animation?!? With all the software and computing power available (and the automation it provides) for this, Filmation and Rankin-Bass could do a better job! Sure it looks superb when you keep lowering the bar below the floor. This has got the same two-elements per composed frame animation and herky-jerky body movement that all craptacular Japan-amation suffers from. They can't even get the dialog synch automation working properly. Stop praising that which should be much higher quality!
-
They are new Johnny Test episodes actually
-
LAME ...80's series is better!!
-
That was about 100 times better than an 80s cartoon reboot has any right to be. I only wish I knew anything about Thundercats because that was some of the best animation I've seen in a while, worthy of Studio Ghibli. The last scene was really reminiscent of the Thor movie.
-
I love the way the very last "THUNDERCATS!" is done in a Scottish stylee.
-
Finally! A reboot that actually takes the best parts of the original, wraps it up in spectacular animation, and serves it all up on a steaming plate of awesome! Even Snarf, as the semi-intelligent, yet apparently non-speaking pet of Lion-O, is excellent.
-
FUCK JOHNNY TEST AND THE HORSE IT RODE IN ON. That cancerous abomination is four years old, and it wasn't even funny back in the day. Why Cartoon Network insists on rerunning it constantly when it has an excellent library of hillarious cartoons is beyond me. Why it funds mediocre shit like JT and live action shows, whilst it lets decent programming like Symbionic Titan wither on the vine, is beyond me. Cheapness I suppose.
-
I never thought I'd say this, but I think this is actually better than the original. Looking forward to the premiere...
-
It looks great, but I have a bad feeling this will be another case of "This is great, cancel it." Look what happened with 'Sym-Biotic Titan'. Then we'll get another season of 'Johnny Test'. *ugh!*
-
I wasn't feeling particularly excited about this before... Suffice to say, that's changed now. Can't wait!
-
Is it me or does Claudus comment about the Original Thundercats defeating Mumm-Ra and bringing peace to Third Earth makes it like this is more of a sequel than a reimagining...
-
Think I came a little. Looks allot better than the original.
-
Yeah, that looks pretty damn good. Color me surprised.
-
I gotta go clean myself off. That was awesome. It makes me so psyched for the show now. Thanks.
