• They didn't even finish up the series that was in theaters and they brought this dumb girl in!!! The cartoon should have ended with Aang or wrote him a new storyline!!! I tell you some people know how mess up a cartoon!! The show doesn't look write without Aang and the rest of the crew. They should of made the new series with Aang and the rest all grown up now that would of been sweet!!!

• Since the trailer doesn't really say anything: The two guys of Team Avatar are brothers, a firebender and an earth bender:  Mako (after Iroh's voice actor), and Bolin.  Benders are intermarrying, which means their kids could be either type. Bolin has a fire ferret, which is a red panda/black footed ferret combo. Pro Bending is a thing, so there are arena type matches.  They hired MMA athletes to get some movement studies. Naga the polar bear dog is based on the crew's dogs.  Naga is a female. The music, as of the panel, is planned on being sort of, if Chinese people had invented jazz.  Should be interesting...

• No, that is a different subspecies of air bison.  Aang supposedly found an island of them.  If you notice, the horns are different, and it has more stripes on its back.  There are also winged ring-tailed lemurs instead of winged sifaka lemurs like Momo.

• if you examine the historical timeline it's really not a stretch at all. when the 1800's began there were folks like Franklin, Faraday, Ampere, Volta, etc and by 1865 Maxwell put it all together to form the basis of electromagnetism, then you had Edison come along followed by prototype mad genius, Tesla. dear gods, by the start of the 1890's Tesla was on his way to create remote controlled vehicles decades before radio was officially invented. could there be an Avatar!Tesla, something like a more advanced version of the Mechanist?

• there were steam powered cars in the mid to late 1880's; so it's not inconceivable that their societies advanced to that extent following an industrial revolution (spurred by a 100 year war) as experienced by the fire nation. also there's electricity depicted and that too is not beyond the realm of the possible since the telegraph was invented ~1840 and much of the industrial parts of the US was filled with it.

• Personally, while I loved all the action scenes in the trailer, I'm disliking the world and setting of this Avatar. Maybe it's the fact that they have cars, maybe it's the off-putting 30s fashion of everything, but I don't think I will like where this is taking place. That said, I will still watch it for the beautiful action scenes.
