Please don't cancel Avengers XD. I have been waiting a long time for a cartoon like this. There should be more storylines told and more characters appearing. Avengers like Hercules, The Scarlet Witch, She-Hulk, etc that should make an appearance. I also like how the Fantastic Four made a brief appearance. They didn't quite make an appearance but the X-men and Spiderman should also. So please do this old comic book reader a favor: Keep the show alive.

i like the show but maybe thay should slow down and go more in each hero and make the fighting bigger longer the first season thay went up agents everybody.
If they cancel it then I am done. Just when you get into a cartoon that isn't so stupid an adult can enjoy it they cancel it. How many other cartoons have they done this with but they keep crap. My nephew watches cartoons that are so stupid that I feel like I have lost a few I.Q. points if I watch it to long.
How about this even make some cartoons for adults, make a batman or superman etc. for adults we are the ones that grew up watching them. If kids don't like them these days maybe they are aiming at the wrong age group.
How about some decent SciFi shows? Something real and gritty not polished and politically correct.

I can watch DC's shows for free as part of my cable package on Cartoon Network and OnDemand. There is no way I can justify the cost just like I have to suffer waiting for Game of Thrones to come out on DVD. At least there they don't dick me around by offering only a couple episodes per disc at a hugely inflated price...
It's not the show that has bad ratings. Disney XD is such a limited platform that hardly anyone has access. Check the Torrent ratings and you will see it is beloved. It needs to be shown on a major network that includes OTA (over the air).
#1 reason why I think Avengers:EMH is failing is the time slot! come on, Sunday at 11:30am??? unfortunately most kids that probably want to watch are stuck in church, out eating with family, at grandma's house, or somewhere their parents want to be, which in turn makes the kids be there too. If they changed the day time or possibly even both, I think it would get better ratings!
I'm tired of so many Marvel adaptations bowing down to Ultimates. Why does Ultimates get so much preference over the regular Marvel Universe? Less for movie script-writers to read?
Finally, someone agrees that SOME OF Jeph Loeb's work on Batman makes his overall oeuvre not 100% bad.
Maybe if it wasn't on Disney XD - a channel parents have to buy specially instead of being part of basic cable like DC's Cartoon Network block of animation.
They'd reach a lot more viewers if it aired on regular Disney rather than their paid for channel.
Oh Captain, My Captain. I will watch in Netflix and turn SHARE THIS THING on. It is a fucking crime that a cartoon that has Jennifer Fucking Hale playing Carol Fucking Danvers (note same middle name) should suffer.
I warmed to EMH as the first season went on, but the first episode I saw of season 2 was the Craptastic Four crossover, and I haven't gone back. the point about Disney gearing the show for kids alone is dead on-it was almost as bad as Ultimate Spiderman
I think once the movie lands and explodes into what should be one of the most loved comic book movies of all time things could change.
The assumption of the movie being that good isn't an assumption...I've seen it and can safely say it is 100% pure enjoyment. If it doesn't convert people into Avengers fans NOTHING will.
The thing is, -unless you are working in South Park- developing a cartoon series season takes a lot of time. If they aren't already finishing the batch of episodes for the next season, chances are Marvel or Disney aren't interested in the show airing in 2013. Or ever. They should've imagine the movie would boost EMH's ratings, so logic would indicate they ordered a bunch of new episodes to Yost and Fine. But Yost and Fine are out. Have been for a while. If Disney/Marvel had been commited to the show, we would already heard about season 3 characters and plots or stories. Some thing. I think there's a very very good chance they cancel it or totally revamp it to fit with they are trying to accomplish with Ultimate Spider-Man and the upcoming Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. It's a real pity but I think EMH is done.
Meanwhile: Burp and fart jokes on Super Hero Squad are selling big time.

This isn't only my favorite animated series, it's my favorite television series PERIOD. The problem is crappy schedule, lack of promotion, and it's on a channel no one seems to get. Geez Disney, how could you fix that? If they make an Ultimate Avengers show in the exact same timeslot on the same channel, it will get even worse results because it's going to suck so bad. Also, everyone who supported the previous show will hate it and actively not watch.
And Mephisto cackles in triumph, as the flames of Hell (or whatever the fuck Marvel calls the place) burns brighter...
I read about this too and i am TOTALLY BUMMED. I agree it's an AMAZING SHOW with one of the best incarnations of the team. IMHO it's right up there with Batman the Animated Series! I love the show's attention to detail and marvel mythos...i will be DEVASTATED if they cancel it....What can we do to save it?????
*le gasp* What a newsflash. Two of the top 5-10 greatest cartoons of all time might well be better. But that's like saying D-Wade & LeBron are better than Bosh. It's true enough, but Bosh is still one of the top-15 players in the league. Avengers is right there in the top couple tiers all-time great cartoons.
I saw this post and waited. I got written up at work for being pissed off and insubordinant, came home and drank bourbon (Wild Turkey, as if it should be anything else), failed 22 sign in attempts through Disqus on my iPhone, and NOW can voice my opinion.
Fuck off with your ratings Disney. You have more money than all the gods ever. You're gonna sink more money into a product that is IDENTICAL in all but quality (and the fact that you can tie it into another series you own [for real- will ULTIMATE Avengers be any better? No. Just more tie ins. Fuck. Off].)

Why bother with original programming? They can just go back to showing Spiderman and His Amazing friends reruns from 25 years ago...all 24 episodes they made.

I really hope this isn't true. I just watched through the entire first season to get ready for the next, which I'll admit that I haven't watched since like a lot of people here, I don't have cable. Don't really want to drop the money on a season pass, but I'm really tempted.
I torrented the entire first Season after reading about it here, but like with all other Shows that I like I get it on Blu-Ray/DVD later since it takes forever till this stuff get's released over here (plus German dubs just blow chunks).
They should have never canceled Spectacular Spider-Man, just give it a new look so it could cross over with EMH. I've watched the two first episodes of Ultimate Spider-Man and unless they cut out the weird paced humor this thing will tank (also Norman Osborn without "cornrows"... Really). It's not even remotely as fun or well written as it's preceder, I'm definitely gonna miss the show if they drop it. Let's just hope that they don't replace it with something inspired by Ultimate Spider-Man.
I loved Avengers: EMH, and I don't want to see it go, but if they do go with a new series, I hope they get a better voice for Iron Man/Tony Stark.
If it wasn't for Topless Robot I wouldn't even know this show existed. I don't get Disney XD but I've seen ads for other Disney shows and they all seem to be live-action abominations that serve as vehicles for the next Tween pop sensation. Maybe part of the reason it's getting canned is because Hawkeye can't make it to the top of the Billboard charts?
...if internet petitions and cupcakes don't work, we could just have one of us immolate themselves and a fruit cart outside Disney XD headquarters. That actually seems to have a pretty good success rate these days.
The biggest problem is that Disney hasn't promoted the show AT ALL. It aired the new episodes on a third-rate network most cable systems don't include in their basic package on Sunday mornings at a time when most folks are either sleeping in or at church.But yeah... chalk it up as one more sign that the people at Disney and Marvel have NO CLUE how to market their best properties.
Come on, this is the show that gave us the BEST portrayl of Doctor Doom EVER. How can you axe this?

The best portrayal of Doctor Doom was in the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance game. That was an epic Doom, with a perfect voice and menacing behavior.
The EMH version is a close #2, though.
