Even the Indiana Jones Blu-Ray Set Is Ashamed of Crystal Skull
I generally dislike doing Blu-ray announcements. You mean a major motion picture franchise like Indiana Jones is coming to Blu-ray? That’s not news, that’s the inevitable. Of course it’ll be digitally remastered, and of course it will have a lot of extras because that’s how these things work (although I admit all the behind-the-scenes and archival footage looks pretty sweet). But I tell you what is newsworthy is that this official trailer for the Indiana Jones Blu-ray collection — which contains all four movies, including Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, Last Crusade, and Kingdom of the Crystal — a trailer which is 2:38 minutes long — contains only eight seconds of Crystal Skull footage. That’s, oh… a tiny bit of over 3%. When asked for a comment, Mutt Jones, King of the Monkeys, grabbed a vine and swung away as fast as he could. (Via /Film)
