I don't know how many of you guys realized that Rian Johnson's recent movie Looper is actually a remake of the classic 1994 Disney movie of the same name, which also starred Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis, but I thought it might be nice to revisit it with the original theatrical trailer. You know, Johnson can add all the adults and guns and violence and special effects he wants, but there's nothing quite like seeing a young kid meet his middle-aged self from the future... and then trying to kill him. Personally, I like to think Gordon-Levitt was trying to prevent his future self from making Hudson Hawk, which is actually a pretty noble goal, in all honesty.
I, too, liked Hudson Hawk, but not at first. I found it was a movie that would get better with each viewing. I finally figured out this was due to the Mayflowers. The actor's who played them had the job of being annoying and the succeeded to the detriment of film. After a couple of viewings, I was able to ignore them and enjoy what turned out to be a very entertaining movie.
YOU SHUT YOUR FACE ABOUT THE AWESOMENESS THAT WAS "HUDSON HAWK", ROB BRICKEN! YOU ARE NOT WORTHY TO MENTION ITS GREATNESS, AND CERTAINLY NOT IN A DISPARAGING MANNER!!
