If there's a word like Brony to describe male fans of Hasbro's Easy-Bake Oven, let's just say there'll be lots of happier...those, very soon. Because Hasbro's getting ready to unveil a gender-neutral one that comes in black, silver and blue.
McKenna Pope, 13, of Garfield, N.J., got more than 40,000 signatures on her online petition at Change.org and the support of celebrity chefs including Bobby Flay, who backed her call for Hasbro to make a gender-neutral oven and to include boys in the ads.
She was prompted to start the petition after shopping for an Easy-Bake as a Christmas present for her 4-year-old brother, Gavyn Boscio, and finding them only in purple and pink.
That was very kind of her. My sisters would have said, "Suck it up, bitch, you're getting a pink toy and liking it!" And since I'm like ten years older than both of them, I'd just have laughed in their faces. Only to be stabbed in my sleep. But I digress...
The new Easy-Bake will be shown at Toy Fair and you'll probably be able to buy one come summer.
Seriously, though, if you're willing to cook and eat something called Red Velvet Cake, the purple oven shouldn't be that much of a problem. The Hulk wears purple pants and you don't see anyone questioning his masculinity. Even though considering that they're human-sized pants on a Hulk-sized body, they've gotta be harder on the ol' manhood than some toy toaster oven which happens to be the same color.

Well i've done some new release movies the last couple of weeks...not sure if Luke is doing this segment. Maybe i'll wait and see.

Oh yes Hasbro, now that another one of those idiot consumers has complained about getting a gender neutral toy, please produce 50,000 units, only to sell 5 units per year, while the pink and purple ones continue to be the ones that girls want instead of the gender neutral blue one.

Since this one is nerdy, and in my wheelhouse, I'll post at least a piece here.
Some of you probably heard but just in case. If you are a user of Instagram the terms are changing. They are reserving the right to take your pictures, use or sell them (with profit to them) and they don't have to (or will) compensate you or even tell you. If you don't want this you have to DELETE your account before January 16th. Be clear if you delete your account on or after the 16th they still can go into their files and use your pictures even if you have deleted your account.

@10glfan59 Best thing about that movie is that it is the most accurate, least hollywooded up, movie rendition of the actual King Arthur stories, from the accurate armor - not Renaissance plate armor but chain, to Lancealot being a absolute berserker madman, to the fact that they keep running into Frenchmen because the stories were French imports brought with the Normans about things that actually happened in France and not at all about anything in Britain Those stories are freaky and weird and it takes only a slight tweak to make them Monty Python material.

@Lithroe I'm doing great! And yes the time shift is a bit of a drag because I think we burn all of our creative energy on old posts that no one really is interesting the rest of the day. Maybe we should just shift to night meeting from now on.
