Not a New Zealand poster, Here it's just called Avengers. Its the UK where it is Avengers Assemble. Get your facts straight.
It's from New Zealand, hence the alternate Avengers title - the John Steed and Emma Peel version has considerably more name-recognition in other parts of the world. But Yahoo has a version of this one up with credits on it, so it looks like this may be the final version. And all those Iron Man suits flying into the air would seem to be a revelation of...something. Are they all being taken over, or all fighting on Stark's behalf?
Either way, gives us just enough room to speculate, as a good tease should.

It may be a New Zealand blog that you're referencing, but it's a UK poster - Marvel's The Avengers was Marvel's The Avengers here in NZ.

Wasn't it already spoiled months ago all of the interwebs that the end of the movie would feature Tony using an army of remote controlled versions of his suits to win the climactic final battle of the film?

Well I know that The Mandarin was hinted at in the first movie being the terrorist group was, The Ten Rings. He has, what looks like, Captain America's Helmet. While the original (at least a few origin stories) has The Mandarin make his rings from Alien spaceship. I assume they are going to do a connection story between Avengers and Mandarin with a spaceship found before Iron Man. Maybe an advanced scout ship or some sort.

a solid thought which I'd agree with except that what looks like it could be the "N" is all askew and overly centered - it looks like it has been defaced in addition to having been shot so it's hard to say either way. I would expect some sort of connection to the Winter Soldier to peak in from time to time so I still lean to it being Cap's

@SlyDante777 nice how Mandarin has his foot on the Iron Man helmet. Looking forward to seeing how they explain the rings. Will they be alien tech, magical, or Earth tech?

@miketen10 @SlyDante777 Given that so far nothing in the Marvel Avengers movies, not even Thor, has been really "magic" in the true supernatural sense, I'm going to guess it won't be magic.

@Gallen_Dugall @miketen10 Since the Avengers-related movies seem to be based around tech/artifacts from Asgard, including the arc reactor, I'll take a stab and say they're from Asgard.

my guess is based on the "dumb it down MOAR" principle that drives movie production. Yes it would be better if they didn't, but likely the rings will play only a minimal role.

@Gallen_Dugall That would be disappointing. The Iron Man cartoon on Nick had the rings coming from a alien race. Since we had Aliens in the Avengers movie it wouldn't be that big of a stretch.
